Julien Audebert parle de déploiement lorsqu’apparaît la structure du texte de Benjamin et utilise le terme de « démontage » lorsqu’à partir d’un maximum de photos d’écrans accumulées puis retouchées il reconstitue toute la première partie du film M le Maudit en une seule image, convoquant tous les témoins du drame dans le même instant photographique, chacune à sa place respective, devenant tous alors suspects. Reconstitution du meurtre d’ Elsie Beckmann est une œuvre photographique qui autorise le spectateur à trouver sa propre place et à son regard de juger de sa juste distance.

Julien Audebert speaks of deployment when the structure of Benjamin’s text appears, and uses the term « dismantling » when, using a maximum number of screen shots collected and then brushed up, he reconstructs the first part of the film M in one sole image, evoking all the drama together in one photographic instant, each in its respective place, all then becoming suspects. Reconstitution du meurtre d’ Elsie Beckmann is a photographic work which allows the viewer to find their own place and to judge in their own way from their appropriate distance.
